Why does CLEW require age confirmation? 

The products we sell are age-restricted. To ensure we comply with all relevant legislation, we must age-verify all our customers. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our site or purchase from us. By making a purchase with CLEW, you are agreeing to allow us to confirm your age with agechecker.net age verification. 

How do I verify my age? 

When you place your 1st order online, as part of our checkout process we use agechecker.net age verification software to check the details you have provided against several publicly available sources such as the electoral roll. If agechecker.net can confirm that you are over 18, your order will be shipped and you will not be verified again in the future as this information is saved on your account. Please ensure you are over 18, as AV failed refunds can take up to 3 weeks to process. 

If for any reason, such as a recent change of address or name change, agechecker.net is not able to confirm your age, you may be asked for further valid proof of age document details, such as a UK Drivers License a UK Content-Unlocked Mobile Phone number, or a Debit/Credit Card. 

This is purely an ID check and will not affect your credit score in any way. 

What happens with my personal data? 

Agechecker.net does not store or use your personal data - it is simply passed through their system and processed, never saved or logged. Once you have been verified through this process and have set up an account with us, you will not be asked to verify your age again.
